Stratum Miners: Switch to Your Own DATUM Gateway

To strengthen the decentralization of XBT mining, DxPool encourages miners to run their own Bitcoin Knots node and DATUM Gateway. At 2026-09-23 12:00 (UTC), the DxPool public Stratum fee will increase from 2% to 25%; the self-hosted DATUM Gateway fee is 0%.

User impact

• The 25% fee applies to hashrate contributed through the DxPool public Stratum (xbt.public-gateway-01.dxpool.com:23334).
• Of the 25% fee, 13.5 percentage points are shared among miners on self-hosted DATUM Gateways in proportion to their hashrate, and 11.5 points go to the pool.
• The legacy SV1 pool xbt.ss.dxpool.com:3388 will be retired; the date will be announced separately.
• Earnings from blocks mined on the legacy SV1 pool before the Bitcoin Knots upgrade (block height 973,440) are settled normally.

Required action

1. Run your own Bitcoin Knots node and DATUM Gateway by following the DxPool DATUM Gateway setup guide. The original datum_gateway does not support XBT; use the gateway specified in the guide.
2. Point your miners to your self-hosted DATUM Gateway.

If you do not run your own gateway

You can connect to the DxPool public Stratum (25% fee):
