ALPH (Alephium) Mining Tutorial

What is ALPH?​

Alephium is an operational sharded L1 blockchain that scales and enhances PoW and UTXO concepts. It is built on a novel and complete sharding algorithm called BlockFlow, which improves on the UTXO model of BTC to make it scalable. Additionally, Alephium uses a DAG data structure to reach consensus between different shards, allowing up to 10,000 Transactions Per Second.

Preparation Before Mining​

Create a wallet before starting mining ALPH.

Check the miner, network, and electricity situation.

Configure Your Mining Device​

Your miner must be connected to the DxPool server listed below for your hashrate and revenue to be recorded and monitored.

You’ll need to enter the following information in your mining device.

ASIC Miner Configuration​

For ASIC miner, there are 2 ways to mine with us:

1) Address Mining

Imput the following address to your miner's setting page:

Miner name: user wallet_address.miner_name

URL: alph.ss.dxpool.com:5577

2) Sub-account Mining

Imput the following to your miner's setting page:

Miner name: account_name.worker_name

URL: alph.ss.dxpool.com:5577

Worker name is optional, but we recommend connecting each mining device with a separate worker name for efficient monitoring.

Your miners are now ready to mine!

As long as you’re submitting your hashrate successfully, you will receive payouts from DxPool.

To view ALPH earnings, sign in to the DxPool website and select the ALPH pool or open the Assets page.

Withdrawing Payouts​

For current withdrawal availability, thresholds, fees, and processing times, open the DxPool Assets page and select ALPH. See Auto Withdrawal and Manual Withdrawal for the available options.
