SC (Siacoin) Mining Tutorial

What is SC?​

Siacoin, referred to as SC, is a system built-in token for the decentralized cloud storage platform SIA based on blockchain technology. Compared to traditional cloud storage methods, decentralized Sia systems can make cloud storage safer, faster, and less expensive. Through erasure coding, encryption, and blockchian, Sia has both traditional cloud storage capabilities and the security privacy issues of traditional cloud storage. Users can use Siacoin to rent or sell storage space.

Mining device​

SC can be efficiently mined with ASIC miners, e.g, Goldshell HS5、HS3、HS3-SE、HS-BOX 。.

Preparation Before Mining​

Register a DxPool account (not a wallet) before start mining SC.

Check the miner, network, and electricity condition.

Configure Your Mining Device​

Your miner must be connected to the DxPool server listed below for your hashrate and revenue to be recorded and monitored.

You’ll need to enter the following information in your mining device:

Pool/URL：sc.ss.dxpool.com:3333
User/Worker：DxPool account name.workername
Password: Your choice

Please note

Worker name is optional, but we recommend connecting each mining device with a separate worker name for efficient monitoring.

DxPool account name is not the wallet address or phone number.

Your machines are now ready to mine!

As long as you’re submitting your hashrate successfully, you will receive payouts from DxPool.

To view SC earnings, sign in to the DxPool website and select the SC pool or open the Assets page.

Withdrawing Payouts​
