Scrypt (LTC+DOGE) Mining Tutorial
Updated: 2026-07-23
What is Scrypt merge mining?
Litecoin, LTC for short, is a decentralized digital currency and one of the early digital currencies.
Dogecoin, born on December 8, 2013, is the second largest virtual currency in the world after Bitcoin in the number of users.
DxPool supports Scrypt merge mining. By connecting your Scrypt miner to the DxPool LTC pool, you can mine LTC and receive supported merged-mining rewards at the same time.

Algorithm: Scrypt
Mining device
LTC and DOGE can be efficiently merge-mined with Scrypt ASIC miners, e.g. Goldshell LT5PRO, MINIDOGE, NexusMiner L1.
Preparation Before Mining
Register a DxPool account (not a wallet) before starting Scrypt mining.
Check the miner, network, and electricity situation.
Configure Your Mining Device
Your miner must be connected to the DxPool server listed below for your hashrate and revenue to be recorded and monitored.
You’ll need to enter the following information in your mining device:
Pool/URL:ltc.ss.dxpool.com:3333
User/Worker:DxPool account name.workername
Password: Your choice
Please note
Worker name is optional, but we recommend connecting each mining device with a separate worker name for efficient monitoring.
DxPool account name is not the wallet address or phone number.
